In Memoriam

It is with great sadness that we let you know of the sudden passing of two long-time Mohawk Canoe Club members due to recent illness. Both were Governing Members, who made considerable contributions to Mohawk over the years and to the paddling community. They will be greatly missed. Our sympathies go out to their families and friends.

Denis Albisser - Passed January 26

Denis Albisser died peacefully after a short battle with pancreatic cancer on January 26, 2015. Denis requested that we all remember him on the river. Therefore, instead of a memorial service, please think of him as you paddle your favorite stream. We hope to arrange a gathering of friends in the spring, when the rivers are flowing and the shad bush is in bloom on the Delaware.

Thank you all for the good fellowship and many fine trips over the years.
